I miss taking lomo shots

Wow! When was the last time I held my Holga and took photos? Not since my trip up North last summer! GAH! And this time around I wasn't even the one who took these lomo shots during our trip to Coron, Palawan - these are all thanks to my sis who sequestered my cam during our trip (I took hold of my digicam haha)

and here are a few of her shots...

Vigan & Baguio through a fisheye

It's amazing how the fisheye makes you see the world differently...

how the tree hangs on

how wide or narrow the path is

the world is round at the end of a fisheye

I can not precisely recall now when I bought my Fisheye lens for my Holga, but I know for sure that it was almost a year ago since I started with this pastime of mine...

I haven't had much use for my Holga and my other toy cameras lately - I haven't been on a trip out of town yet again... and I still have 2 unprocessed films at home haha... I'll get to it soon enough...

So while I wait for that to happen! I just thought of compiling a few "rounds" of fisheye photos!

It's obvious that I like to capture the sun in my fisheye...

seeing double...even multiple

After the 2nd or 7th roll of 120mm films that I feed into my Holga, one thing I discovered, I love playing around with multiple exposures!

Especially when I take shots of people...
my most likely subjects would be my friends

When I take picture of Places...
wherever I go and whenever I have my toys with me

Or just about any Thing!

And from the surprises I get every time I make multiple exposures,
I must say, this may just be my line of expertise...not! Haha
But I really do have fun making them!

It's almost been one year

While I was going through my other blogsite: lomoismypastime.multiply.com, the real home of my first set of lomography photos, I had to backtrack and check when did I get bitten by this lomography craze? Maybe since I don't have my own digital camera after my old Sony digicam finally gave up on me...I was looking for something else...so some friends mentioned this lomography - analog camera to me and as they say the rest is history!

And so I checked that blogsite, and was surprised to note that my 1st blogpost there is August 2009! Wow! That makes it almost 1 year since I started this pastime...
And I'm still a newbie... Yup I am! I don't take regular shots using my HOLGA STARTER KIT also known as the Holga 120 CFN, or my SuperSampler...
I hardly travel that much and the films are expensive and not that readily available...
Even if I play with my toy cameras as often as I can I really am just a newbie - no expert here mind you! I'm really just having fun experimenting every time I have my toy cameras with me.

But hey I'm proud to say I am continuously surprised with the various photos in this short time that I've tested my knack of experimenting with lomography...

One thing that I love about lomography is that I am perpetually surprised with each output.
